U Myo Tin
Director & General Manager

U Myo Tin served for 30 years in the Myanmar Air Force following his graduation from Rangoon University. He started as a Squadron Fighter Pilot and was eventually promoted to the rank of Brigadier General when he became a Base Commander. He is also a graduate of the Air Command & Staff College, Alabama, USA. During his distinguished military career, he was twice awarded the Gallantry Medal.

He was subsequently assigned as the country’s Army, Naval & Air Attache to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for six years, and upon his return to Yangon, served as Officer-on-Special-Duty at the Myanmar Ministry of Transport.

U Myo Tin joined the oil and gas industry in 2005, initially serving as the General Manager of Myint & Associates, and then subsequently as the Director of Asia Drilling Pte Ltd. He is currently Director and General Manager of MPRL E&P Pte Ltd.
